The Soliss Foundation and the UCLM have received the support and commitment to complete collaboration from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo, since they share the same objective with which the Tagus Chair has been created.
This morning the protocol ceremony for the signing of the collaboration agreement was held at the SOLISS headquarters in Toledo, attended by: Beatriz Larraz Iribas, director of the Tagus Chair; César María Duro, director of the Soliss Foundation and Jesús Carrobles, director of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo.
ROYAL ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS AND HISTORICAL SCIENCES OF TOLEDO
For years, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Historical Sciences of Toledo has had among its objectives the defense of the Tagus River and the demand for its environmental recovery and its cultural values. This is attested, among other manifestations, to the inclusion of the Tagus as number one on the List of Heritage in Danger since its creation. Considering that the defense of the Tagus and its tributaries is a priority for the province of Toledo, this Academy decides:
1. Applaud and congratulate the signatory institutions for their brave and determined commitment to the defense of our river.
2. Transfer to both the University of Castilla La Mancha and the SOLISS Foundation our support for the objectives that have been set when creating the aforementioned chair.
3. Offer the collaboration of this Academy for any actions that must be carried out in favor of the defense of this natural heritage in danger.
