Saturday, March 26, in Santa Cruz de la Zarza (Toledo), the conference will take place: “Forecasts of the 2022-2027 Hydrological Plan. Groundwater and Aquifers. “Fluvial Ecology and good water management, in our region, from Estremera to Aranjuez”, organized by the Santa Cruz de la Zarza Platform for the Defense and Recovery of the Tagus.

The conference will be given by three members of the Tagus Chair UCLM-Soliss Raúl Urquiaga, support researcher at the Tagus Chair and spokesperson for Jarama Vivo; Antonio Sastre, doctor in hydrogeology and professor at the University of Alcalá de Henares; and Domingo Baeza, doctor in ecology and specialist in ecological flows from the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The talk will address different aspects of the Tagus basin such as the forecasts of the new hydrological plan, the state of the water masses, ecological flows, state and conservation of the underground water masses, the conservation of the riverside forest and the space river, etc.
