Open enrollment period. UCLM's own study promoted by the UCLM-Soliss Tajo Chair and the New Culture of Water Foundation.
60 mandatory credits, in a modular format. Basically online teaching. It incorporates three practical cases chosen for their relevance and interest in current water management in Spain.
Educational Projects
The educational project of the Tajo Chair aims to transfer knowledge about the values of the Tajo basin and its rivers to the educational community, providing materials and methodologies for learning.
The ultimate goal is to achieve a more conscious, critical and responsible society regarding the problems of river ecosystems and that generates skills and attitudes that result in the conservation and good condition of the Tagus river.
Project "50 years without our river"
The Tagus Chair collaborates with the Royal Foundation of Toledo in the educational project "50 years without our river."
Beatriz Larraz, Director of the Chair, and Enrique García Gómez, a member of the Chair's research team, will provide scientific advice on the project. "50 years without our river" is aimed at students of all educational stages of all educational centers in Toledo.
This is a project designed to involve schools and institutes to give visibility to the persistent deplorable state of our river.
“50 years without our river”, was born with the conviction that an enormous amount of ecological awareness work can be done from the school environment, already from the earliest ages since young people do not, in general, have a positive experience of the Tagus River because they have always known it to be polluted. There are even a few teachers, still active, who have known a clean Tajo.
